Full Time Paid Internship
The ESPN Mobile Engineering team does the development of some of the most downloaded and successful iOS apps, including the ESPN app, WatchESPN, Tournament Challenge, and many others. You will work with a cross-functional team of product managers, designers, Web developers and Content creators to conceptualize and develop world-class ESPN apps.
You will work with a cross-functional team of Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, Web Developers, and Content Creators to conceptualize and develop world-class ESPN apps.
Responsibilities
• Work with the iOS Mobile Engineering technology team to plan, build and test applications for mobile phones and tablets
• Investigate new technologies at the direction of staff engineers and report findings
• Complete programming assignments using Objective C or Swift
• Participate in application testing alongside dedicated quality assurance personnel.
• Work closely with Project Management to plan and track work in an Agile fashion
Basic Qualifications
• Must be self-motivated, have a strong team orientation, learn quickly and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Desire to work with a wide spectrum of consumer facing technologies
• Passion for consumer software development
• Must enjoy technical troubleshooting and exploration
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience, including course work or self-driven exploration, of iOS or related mobile technologies.
Preferred Education
• Undergraduate Senior pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related field of study

nternship Eligibility:
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization
Program Dates: The length of this internship is 10 weeks, and the approximate. Interns will work 40 hours per week and must be fully available throughout the internship. Housing: A limited amount of housing assistance is available for those who qualify.
