Full Time Unpaid Internship
We Are…
The ESPN Global Data Group leads the creation, innovation, and execution of data-based ad products and solutions across all ESPN platforms. More specifically, the Data Solutions and Sales Enablement team is a product advocate and educator to the salesforce. The team is tasked with positioning, developing, and overseeing data-enabled solutions on highly complex advertising campaigns. The team works with internal and external stakeholders to refine and evolve the data-enabled solution set.
Responsibilities
A Day in the Life…
• Organize and structure sales and client feedback on data enabled products and services; make informed recommendations
• Aggregate performance insights across data enabled products, summarize findings, and work with appropriate sales communication colleagues to produce associated internal and external-facing collateral
• Work with internal stakeholders to create an all-encompassing digital product opportunity index, categorized by industry vertical and KPI
• Collect and organize feedback on Data Support Requests submitted by sales teams in the Salesforce CRM System

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in or understanding of the media business, marketing performance, advertising, digital and/or television advertising
• Grasp of the marketing funnel and associated key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Presence and composure to represent the Global Data Team with internal stakeholders
• Team player, comfortable working across different internal groups and teams to find solutions
• Ability to manage multiple projects to strict timelines
Required Education
• Enrolled as a junior, senior or graduate student at an accredited college or university in the semester prior to the internship

Additional Information:
Internship Eligibility:
• Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship. May 2017 graduates are still eligible.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
• Must possess unrestricted work authorization
Program Dates: The length of this internship is 10 weeks, and the approximate dates are September 11 – November 17, 2017. Interns may work up to 40 hours per week with some flexibility in number of hours and schedule to accommodate classes as needed.
Housing: This internship is located in New York, NY. A limited amount of housing assistance may be available to those who qualify.
Transportation: Must provide own transportation to/from work.
