Full Time Job
The Associate Manager, Remote Production Operations assists management in departmental decisions and in planning the direction of the department.
Responsibilities
• Supervise direct reports in making sure they are following company and departmental policy as well as performing their job to the best of their ability.
• Schedule and lead Performance Connection meetings with direct reports in addition to providing timely and critical feedback on a one-on-one basis.
• Mentor and provide functional oversight to less experienced Network Traffic Coordinators.
• Provide on-site supervision at remote events.
• Participate in special projects as required such as the creation of Project Phoenix, etc.
• Assist management in evaluating departmental processes and strategies, and in recommending changes and improvements
• Participate in the interview and decision process of job candidates.
• Maintain a daily working relationship with critical ESPN departments, ensuring proper execution of Network Traffic functions and responsibilities in conjunction with those of the other departments. Initiate on-going and ''as needed'' interdepartmental meetings in response to new and changing operational needs.
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum of 5 years' experience with coordinating major network television telecommunications facilities, including on-site proficiency with managing remote venue telecommunications.
• Must have proven proficiency in all senior level skills and responsibilities.
• Must possess strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, as well as display a positive attitude and high level of maturity.
• Aptitude for training others
Required Education
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
