We have released a number of Billboard-charting albums in the genres of hip hop, rap, R&B, rock, gospel, Latin, and pop, among others.
Responsibilities:
The role is responsible for managing social media, digital and mobile marketing campaigns to support the record label roster of EMPIRE.
Work with artists and label colleagues to develop strategies and implement high impact one-of-a-kind campaigns.
Reporting to the VP and CEO, this position acts as a central digital point on multiple projects from initial conception through album cycles, as well as maintaining off cycle artist social media and digital presence.
Create and publish engaging content for artists through daily posts across all relevant social channels and platforms
Participate in fan conversations surrounding artists through leadership of social media monitoring, response and reporting
Engage in online listening and outreach: day-to-day buzz monitoring and engagement with artist social communities, as well as with bloggers and the general online community, distributing feedback where appropriate
Develop and nurture relationships with relevant outlets and blogs/influencers to secure coverage for artist
Analyze radio, sales, and consumer response data to make informed marketing decisions
Qualifications:
Must have extensive knowledge of social media and community management including hands-on management of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Google+, Vine, Instagram and Snapchat
Understanding of social communication and proven ability to grow online communities including strong public facing social writing skills
Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to emerging trends
Internet and social savvy
People management skills; relationship/client management skills
Strategic thinker
Relationship builder and maintainer
Ability to work in fast-paced environment with relatively short deadlines
Ability to manage multiple tasks
Must be highly organized and capable of developing and keeping to a project timeline
Successful candidate will possess a positive attitude, an eagerness to learn and a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment while juggling multiple tasks and priorities
Education Required/Preferred:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Marketing Management, Journalism, Communications, General Business or a related field
