INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION

EMI Music North America is looking for enthusiastic, motivated interns for our Spring 2012 Internship Program.

INTERNSHIP: Digital Sales Intern

SALARY: Unpaid (for college credit only)

PURPOSE: To expose college student to hands on work experience in their field of Digital Sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Gain basic understanding of sales relationship with digital partners
• Gain basic understanding of EMI sales/ marketing functions
• Assist with day-to-day tasks related to EMI content/ products
• Assist with projects on ad hoc basis
• Provide feedback/ recommendations on ways to improve our efforts with digital partners

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Interest and experience in digital streaming sites: YouTube, MySpace, VEVO, Hulu, AOL, Mixer etc.
• Must be an undergraduate student enrolled in an accredited college and be receiving academic credit for an internship
• Internships require a commitment of at least 16 hours per week for a minimum of 12 weeks
• Interest in pursuing a career in sales
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, writing and organizational skills required
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Must be pro-active, detail oriented, and possess good follow-through wile adhering to deadlines
• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize tasks sufficiently while working independently
• Strong interest in the music industry preferred
• Strong organizational skills preferred
• Must be reliable and have good time management skills
