Full Time Job
1. Generalist HR Support
• Provides benefits, staffing, new hire/term, employee relations, and other HR administrative support to designated client groups.
• Provides general payroll support for designated client groups and processes personnel/payroll change forms, as needed.
• Ensures escalation of issues as necessary to Senior Director, HR.
• Manages workers compensation, LOA/FMLA, and unemployment compensation, ensuring compliance with policy. Maintain accessible file information for each qualifying employee.
• Ensures that OSHA postings are complete and updated.
2. Recruitment (within designated client groups)
• Posts openings (both internally and externally) for both full time roles and temporary roles
• Ensures compliance with approval processes.
• Sources, interviews, and checks references.
• Prepares correspondence to employment candidates.
• Updates the recruiting spreadsheet and ensures that job files are complete.
• Issues offer letters and new hire documents.
• Follows through on employee referrals, as necessary.
• Ensures tracking of EEOC information, including updates of new hire, termination, promotion/transfer, and applicant logs.
• Works with managers to identify job requirements and maintain accurate job descriptions.
• Ensures completion of paperwork to recruit, hire, term, and provide general support for interns.
3. New Hire and Termination Support
• Ensures that all new hire or term documents are completed and distributed in a timely manner.
• Conducts a benefit orientation for new employees.
• Conducts an exit interview with all terming employees.
4. Performance Reviews and Management
• Manages annual performance reviews to ensure accountability and professional growth for all employees in designated client groups.
• Works proactively with managers to assure maintenance of high performance standards by employees.
• Oversees performance improvement plans.
• Works with managers to encourage on-going employee development and career counseling.
5. Miscellaneous Support (as needed)
• Assists in development/implementation of HR training initiative.
• Serves as liaison to office services department.
• Prepares employment verifications.
• Updates HR documents on intranet site.
• Assists in maintaining filing systems (paper and digital) to ensure efficient information retrieval.
• Oversees hiring and agreements for independent contractors.
• Generates and/or edits organizational announcements.
• Other duties and/or special projects as requested.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years HR experience, required.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook required, PowerPoint and other software packages preferred.
• High degree of confidentiality required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, required.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in fast-paced area required.
• Ability to handle multiple and shifting priorities required.
• Strong client service perspective required.
• Previous music industry experience a plus.
