Located in Flatiron, our office is a fun, casual, environment. We are seeking an E-commerce Merchandising Intern to work with our Online Merchandise and Social Media teams. The position is unpaid, but we would be happy to provide school credit.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the Online Merchandise team to assist in daily tasks such as inventory maintenance, online store fulfillment and upkeep, data entry, shipping, errands, etc.
- Work with the Social Media team to create and implement campaigns for products
- Help with online merchandise plan
- Create and plan social media posts
- Support the department and senior executives with administrative tasks
- Learn more social media strategy, merchandising, and branded content
Qualifications:
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience in social media / marketing
- In-depth working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Snapchat
- Experience with social media analytics, including Google Analytics
- Must be creative and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously within a fast-paced environment with constantly changing deadlines
- Available at least 16 hours per week
- Must live in or near NYC
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university or trade school, or recent grad up to 6 months
