We are seeking a Digital Producer for episodic children's YouTube based productions in NYC. Working at Driver allows you to jump right into the exciting world of new media and children's content as we continue to expand our mark.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize a combination of traditional and agile / scrum project management methods to plan and manage the content creation for a weekly episodic shows
• Create and maintain timelines, staffing plans, and overall project scope
• Engage with creatives, writers, director, editors, social media strategist to deliver great content
• Manage the team's day-to-day tasks to ensure deadlines are met
• Ensure the team is functional and working towards a successful execution
• Document and communicate project status to teams on a regular basis to ensure all team members are aware of next steps, potential problems and project milestones
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of digital production experience managing small to medium productions
• Ability to understand agile methodologies in New Media
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Exudes a positive attitude, even when faced with difficult or stressful situations
• Must be creative and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously within a fast-paced environment with constantly changing deadlines
• Strong problem solving skills with the ability to quickly grasp project issues and work well under pressure
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Proficiency with general project management principles and methodologies
• Knowledge of project management tools is a plus
• Good sense of trends and a desire for ''what's next''
• A passion for children content
• Genuinely interested in the YouTube landscape and children's content
