Music Product Associate & Content Assistant

Digital Music
• Conceptualize, Research and create titles and track lists for releases
• Update Release Schedule with new titles
• Request cover art from art department
• Enter release information into Counterpoint via DataGateway imports
• Complete Metadata for all releases via DataGateway exports
• Locate, move, organize, and correctly rename Masters for releases
• Zip Masters with Art and Upload to FTP site
• Research market trends on web sites of major digital retailers for US & International and provide summary to manager
• Assist Content Manager with new Catalog Analysis for potential acquisition

Physical Releases
• Aid Music Content Manager in Creation and development of physical programs for seasonal and every day
• In charge of track list creation, art requests, label copy requests, GP set up forms, master creation and final submissions.
• Maintain physical release schedule
• Request sales materials (catalogs and sell sheets) from Art department

Catalog Maintenance
• Update complete combined catalog and new song list when new additions are received from catalog partners. (Forwarded from employees in charge of respective catalogs)
• Add new song files to Multimedia drive
• Send monthly update of new releases
• Assist department manager with the screening of new catalog submissions

In Store Music
• Support for music program
• Assist with Track List creation, collect, and rename files accordingly

Desired Skills
• In depth knowledge of all genres of music
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Ability to multitask
• Some Licensing Experience
• Strong organizational skills
• Internet research skills
