Looking for real-like experience in the entertainment industry's expanding role in new media and emerging technology programming? The 2016 Downtown Film Festival L.A., Sept 21-28 in DLTA, is looking for qualified interns to assist in the production of The Fifth Wall, its interactive project line-up. The program celebrates digital, multimedia, installations and performance art, including but not limited to VR, that seeks to engage, evoke and surprise the audience by reinventing the narrative and rethinking the process of storytelling. The Fifth Wall will be housed in a creative event space in the Arts District of DTLA. Selected interns will assist senior staff in all aspects of the event production from program curation to event planning and marketing. Qualified candidates should be grounded in interactive programming, multimedia or new media from any of a number of disciplines from video gaming to fine arts and filmmaking to immersive journalism.
