Job Title: Guest Services Supervisor
Position Description
Join an exciting team dedicated to world class entertainment. This part-time position will be responsible for overall supervision of guest services associates (ushers, ticket takers, coat room and lobby attendants). This position acts as a point person for the event services department during all shows for both patrons and guest services associates and is empowered to make on-the-spot decision with regards to customer needs.
Essential Job Duties:
Supervision of guest service associates (deployment assignments, coordinates breaks for staff members, leads staff in ingress and egress practices.)
Must have the ability to give direction to staff, including the critique of uniform, appearance and posture.
Strong sense for customer service; the ability to put a guest's needs first and resolve conflict.
Leads staff in pre-event meetings by being prepared and knowledgeable regarding events.
Acts as liaison for guest services staff, Guest Services Manager, and other management personnel.
Ability to maintain order and ensure adherence to safety rules.
Knowledge, Skill and Experience:
Strong communication skills are essential.
Displays an outgoing and friendly nature, professional integrity and dependability.
Strong sense for customer service; the ability to put a guest's needs first.
Ability to maintain order and ensure adherence to safety rules.
Demonstrates professional integrity and dependability.
Takes pride and initiative to help maintain the theater's appearance and reputation; makes suggestions for ways to improve theatre operations.
Works effectively with other facility departments as needed, including housekeeping, production, catering, etc.
Celebrates diversity in the workplace, both among their colleagues and within the audiences we serve.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Must be willing to work a flexible and irregular schedule (including evenings, weekends and holidays.)
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift-up to 25 lbs.
Must be 21 years or older.
