Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media (DCPI) is seeking a Workforce Analytics Manager to join the Workforce Analytics team. Analytics are a strategic priority for DCPI and to the Human Resources function as we leverage people and organizational insights to engage our employees and ensure our talent is aligned with our business objectives. The Workforce Analytics Manager will help to transform people data into insights and actions that will enable DCPI to execute its Workforce Analytics, HR, and business strategies. The ideal candidate will be a strategic advisor to top executives with a bias towards action and impact. The candidate must be comfortable being dropped into ambiguous situations and able to quickly develop a plan to drive transformation and business results.
Responsibilities
The Workforce Analytics Manager will be responsible for applying strategic analytic skills to transform raw people data into meaningful and actionable HR business insights.
This includes the following responsibilities:
• Help evolve and execute the DCPI Workforce Analytics Strategy and operational roadmap.
• Design and execute data models using statistical principles (e.g., regression, correlation, etc.).
• Manage and ensure effective use of employee surveys (e.g., Engagement and Pulse surveys).
• Produce concise, story-driven presentations to communicate analytic insights.
• Create, maintain, and update interactive data dashboards and visualizations.
• Provide training to HR stakeholders on the use of analytics and basic statistical measurements.
• Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to identify key people metrics that align with business strategies and help to drive decisions.
• Manage multiple simultaneous work streams with competing priorities.
Basic Qualifications
• 5 – 7 years of experience in workforce analytics, business intelligence, and/or marketing analytics.
• Ability to translate business and operational goals into actionable research studies to support workforce related business decisions.
• Strong applied statistical and analytical skills to design and execute predictive, descriptive, and inferential statistics.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex analytics insights to non-technical audiences, including senior executive leadership.
• Proficiency in acquiring, organizing, cleansing, and manipulating large amounts of data.
• Well organized with attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
• Strong written, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a highly collaborative working style.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office projects including Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Word.
• Demonstrated experience with analytics software (e.g. SAS) and/or SQL language.
• Demonstrated experience with business intelligence visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Qlik).
Preferred Qualifications
• Demonstrated experience with SAP, Cognos, Successfactors, and Kenexa.
• Extensive prior experience in PowerPoint design and presentation to Executive audiences.
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Industrial Organizational Psychology or other closely related fields.
Preferred Education
• MBA or Masters in Statistics, Analytics, Industrial Organizational Psychology or other closely related fields.
