Are you interested in changing the future of television? The media industry is undergoing rapid change, and Disney-ABC Television is building new capabilities for direct-to-consumer engagement that will enable us to compete in this dynamic new marketplace. The Consumer Engagement team is responsible for innovating and developing the strategies and capabilities to directly address our fans to build relationships and retention.
Disney-ABC Television is seeking a Senior Program Manager, Consumer Engagement, to join the Consumer Experience team. The Sr. Program Manager plays a major role in developing and shaping projects, building and growing long-term fan relationships, and understanding the ''big picture'' in consumer engagement. This position will lead data-driven, incremental actions across consumer journeys to drive engagement and viewership by growing Disney-ABC Television's consumer profiles through breakthrough, high performance digital programs. You will work with an experienced cross-functional team to conceive, design, and develop innovative fan engagement activities to foster show/brand loyalty and retention.
Responsibilities
• Create, test, and scale new programs while growing awareness and preference for Disney-ABC Television lines of business and shows
• Understand partners' business and develop supporting program strategies
• Review internal and external intelligence relating to the consumer engagement experience. Analyze and interpret data to create compelling strategic engagement activities to improve and sustain customer loyalty
• Gain executive sponsorship and support to build successful campaigns
• Partner closely with Engagement Analytics and Consumer Insights to develop effective processes to identify and quantify incremental opportunities that deliver high value while maintaining program KPI's
• Provide project leadership, direction and coaching/support to the project team.
• Define and manage the end-to-end project plan, budget and resources to deliver against expectations
• Provide oversight of key agency relationships, partners and vendors
• Manage program Steering Committee/stakeholder meetings (ie SVP/EVP level)
• Guide resourcing decisions to ensure successful program outcomes
• Prepare results at the end of programs or campaigns to share insights that are tied to objectives and present them to teams
• Conduct project postmortems and create recommendation reports in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
• Promote cultural and operational transformation toward increased efficiency and effectiveness. Create a learning environment, open to suggestions and experimentation for improvement
Basic Qualifications
• Hands-on experience developing, planning, launching, and analyzing digital customer acquisition/retention campaigns
• Experience managing interdependencies and integration among multiple deliverables, teams and stakeholders
• Strong project management skills and key computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Inspirational leader with the ability to motivate others, to gain the respect of partners and colleagues, and to work collaboratively in a team setting
• Must be able to navigate ambiguous situations and initiate process improvement
• Strong communication and presentation skills with an ability to communicate both upwardly and cross-functionally
• Strategic, big picture thinker
• Ability to filter through details to identify priorities
Preferred Qualifications
• 7 years of experience managing cross-functional projects and programs with tight deadlines
• Deep understanding of the digital marketing technology ecosystem is advantageous
• Passionate about numbers with strong analytics skills; you're at home among dashboards, weekly reports, and data visualizations
• Experience in marketing, data analysis, and optimization techniques
Required Education
• A Bachelor's degree required in Business, Marketing, Technology or related field
Preferred Education
• Advanced degree in Business, CRM, Marketing or related field
