Full Time Job
Freeform is looking for a Manager, Product Management to help us reinvent television, putting the user first and providing the best entertainment experience available. You will work as part of the the Digital Product & Programming team to create and support digital products our audience will love. The job uses every part of your big brain, and requires you to work across disciplines with various stakeholders, so excellent communication skills are critical.
The ideal candidate is creative, yet grounded; thoughtful, yet biased towards action. We are looking for someone who dreams big, and doesn't shy away from a challenge.
Responsibilities
• Ideation: Conceive, pitch, and develop original product concepts.
• Functional design: Gather requirements, define how it's all going to work, and collaborate with a UI designer to bring the concept to life.
• Development: Participate in the technical development process, working closely with engineers to make it happen.
• Marketing: Develop a go-to-market strategy in conjunction with the marketing group.
• Lifecycle: Iterate, iterate, iterate. Take in the analytics, listen to the users, and determine how the product should evolve.
Basic Qualifications
• A minimum of 5 years of digital product management or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams working on the launch/maintenance of mobile/web/OTT applications
• Excellent analytical, communication, & presentation skills
• Familiarity with agile development methodology
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience building and scaling a successful startup.
• Cool side projects – show us your passion projects, we like passion.
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
