Manager - Primary Research (ABC)
The Consumer Insights group is seeking a strong candidate to join our team focusing on strategic, brand and digital research. The Manager will be a valued consumer consultant working with internal teams to understand their insights needs, then develop and execute research using innovative cutting-edge approaches to address those needs.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills / attributes:
• Understands how to turn the consumer's voice and data into actionable findings for internal business groups that pushes the business forward
• Knows how to design a research project that meets the need of the business question and can identify which methodology best serves that purpose
• Is a compelling storyteller who is able to socialize research findings across different departments, meeting the needs of each
• Ability to juggle multiple projects at once and prioritize effectively
• Organized with strong time management skills
• Analytical thinker who enjoys problem-solving
• Naturally curious and collaborative
• Loves working within a team and wants to avoid a silo environment
• Pays attention to detail and accuracy
• Passion for the television industry
Basic Qualifications
• Candidate must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in a market research agency or department and at least 2 years of primary research experience
• Has experience with and is comfortable managing both qualitative and quantitative research
• Highly-proficient with Excel and PowerPoint and has working knowledge of statistical analysis and SPSS or SAS
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with advanced analytics
• Experience with entertainment research
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Education
• Advanced degree in statistics or mathematics
