ABC National Television Sales is seeking a passionate, talented marketing rock-star who will join our dynamic team developing breakthrough campaigns to drive incremental revenue across our ABC Owned TV digital and social platforms. The Digital Marketing Manager, will be responsible for hands on development of creative forward thinking ideas, fresh innovative proposals and delivering flawless campaign execution with superior results leading to renewals. An ability to understand audience driven marketing and inspire winning partnerships is key.
Responsibilities
• Create and manage innovative digital and social marketing programs that generate revenue to our properties & drive results for clients, often under tight time frames with impeccable follow through
• Be solution oriented and fluent in all aspects of promotion marketing across various channels, such as co-marketing with entertainment properties and 3rd parties, online and live events, digital, social, native, branded content, mobile, app marketing, VOD and emerging platforms
• Produce compelling proposals, campaign elements and recaps
• Design quality mockups and oversee production of creative for digital, video, mobile, social and emerging technologies, managing internal and external creative agencies as needed
• Oversee advertiser driven social coverage and custom content opportunities including Facebook Live events, Live Twitter events and branded content creation for Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, and other social platforms
• Be fluent in analytics to gauge and optimize campaign performance, boost campaigns as required and inform planning of future projects
• Collaborate with multiple business units and partners including clients, account executives and management, television stations, show stakeholders, legal, business affairs, production, planning and research teams, talent and outside partners to drive campaign success
• Stay up to date on key trends, pop culture, new social media platform features, and marketing technology to ensure all campaigns are relevant and cutting-edge.
• Travel as needed for client meetings and on-site event execution
Basic Qualifications
The successful candidate will be a passionate self starter who is motivated to create first class experiences for clients and consumers that deliver on strategic performance goals. The candidate must have demonstrated the ability to develop digital and social marketing programs and partnerships that lead to rapid revenue growth, while at the same time have the analytical ability to dive into the tactical details and make real-time adjustments to marketing campaigns in order to optimize performance.
• Strong knowledge of online marketing methods, tools and strategies; ability to plan, develop and execute complex multi-channel campaigns that drive results
• Clear understanding of how to build and deliver integrated digital and social marketing campaigns from start to finish
• Strengths in problem solving and issue-resolution, ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• Proven experience in initiating, managing and growing strategic relationships with marketing partners, vendors, agencies, and internal stakeholders
• Superior oral and written communication skills
• Team-oriented, with the ability to be flexible, independent yet collaborative with others in remote locations
Preferred Qualifications
• 3 years of marketing and/or business development experience, preferably within Digital, Social or Entertainment Marketing
• Positive, motivated, enthusiastic 'can do' attitude at all times
• Proficient with Photoshop, Powerpoint, Word and Excel & fluent in digital/social media
• Strong presentation, communication, planning, and interpersonal skills
• A natural team player and have a desire to work with others for broader success
• Operates successfully in a rapidly changing, ambiguous and undefined environment
• Has relentlessly high standards, thinks big, and inspires excellence
