With over 95 patents and counting, our Digital Media Technology team is shaping the future of the media evolution. We were the first to provide authenticated users access to both live, 24/7 linear network streams and an extensive offering of advantaged-window, on-demand episodes on desktops, streaming media devices, smartphones and tablets. We developed the Emmy Award-winning ABC Player, the Emmy Award-winning Academy Awards Backstage Pass app for iPhone and iPad, as well as high-traffic, over-the-top applications and services for a variety of mobile, desktop, and streaming media platforms. We are not stopping there, we want to continue to develop groundbreaking, industry defining technology and we need your help to get there.
The Director of Personalization for DATG Digital Media will be responsible for creating and driving DATG's Product Personalization efforts across multiple businesses.
The Director will serve as the lead Product owner for executing our Personalization efforts across our portfolio of Digital Products. They will be integral in creating, evolving and executing our product personalization vision with DATG as well as the company as a whole. The ideal strategy will focus on increased user engagement and functionality by leveraging both internal and external data points. The Director should have extensive experience leading consumer-focused applications and be familiar with many of the tools and data used across the industry to create exceptional products.
Basic Qualifications
• 10 years of product management and 3 years of team leadership experience
• Ability to carry and execute strategy and vision across a highly matrixed organization to influence key stakeholders (including senior leaders) on the design and implementation of the product
• Seamlessly operate between highly complex, technical and strategic situations
• Experience with personalization and/or recommendation systems required
• Passion and desire to build features that enable millions of users to engage with personalized content and recommendations
• Experience with personalization tools and systems, data science or similar areas
• Consumer-focused product management experience required
Preferred Qualifications
• Video experience is a strong plus
• Ad technology experience is a plus
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar field and/or commensurate experience
Preferred Education
• - MBA strongly preferred
