Creative Producer (ABC News)
ABC News is hiring a Creative Producer who can dream up new ways to position and deliver marketing content that drives and angles audiences. The Creative Producer will create original trailers, promos and commercials to reach these goals. This person must be able to fully produce broadcast quality content from conceptualization to air. If you are crazy driven, eclectic, super creative and technically gifted then this is the job for you.
Responsibilities
• Produce a variety of content for multiple shows and platforms with a hands-on creative approach to storytelling
• Pitch development ideas for marketing and promoting ABC NEWS content
• Write scripts for voiceover and on air talent
• Edit trailers, promos, commercials, sizzle reels
• Work with design team building graphics
• Work with on-air talent both in-studio and in the field
• Manage a variety of projects with different workflows and deadlines.
• Form and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with people at various levels, both within ABC News and outside the company.
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum of 7 years of experience producing content for distribution to large scale audiences
• Must be able to edit broadcast quality content on Adobe Premiere or AVID
• Must be able to provide samples of work
• A lead creative with track record of ''wow''
• A great spirit and a love for pop-culture, news, music, art, sports, everything!
• Must embrace deadlines and work well under pressure able to juggle multiple projects at one time
• Self-starter who can work alone and work with thousands at the same time.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Preferred Qualifications
• 7 or more years of experience producing promotional content for television or trailers at a large production house or movie studio
Required Education
• Bachelors degree from accredited college or university, or equivalent experience
