Full Time Job
The Multi-Platform Content Development team is seeking a highly organized and creative individual to join the team. This is a hybrid role wherein the individual will oversee the flow of all development materials pertaining to pitches, presentations, work-in-progress, and approvals and but also will participate in the creative development process through brainstorms, pitch material analysis, creative input and content review. A passion for pop culture, new media and sense of humor are essential.
Responsibilities
• Receive all incoming materials and coordinate review with Executives
• Review and coordinate compilation and communication of notes
• Oversee post production video, graphic design and audio sessions to provide creative direction and feedback
• Organize and keep up-to-the-minute status on all department projects; including creating decks, presentation reels or other materials needed to communicate and share departmental status of projects.
• Create show loglines and guides as necessary
• Contact and communicate with DCWW Current Series teams, outside agencies and new content creators to coordinate the flow and day-to-day business of the department
• Read and review scripts and pitches in order to keep current on talent pool
• View all DCWW Current series, DCOMs and other DCWW content to keep current on state of the business and series the department will support with Short Form and Micro content
• Participate in creative development brainstorms for Short Form and Micro Content; including generating ideas and giving notes.
• Participate in live-action shoots to give creative direction, guidance and feedback
• Concept, write and produce Short Form and Micro Content videos
• Stay aware of changing consumer habits among key demos of K6-11 and K9-14
• Stay aware of new technologies across digital media and apply them to new Short Form and Micro Content storytelling
• Communicate clearly and concisely in an email driven culture
• Present and participate well in meetings
Basic Qualifications
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a support role, preferably in entertainment industry
• Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote, Outlook
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Premiere
• Expert level understanding of short form video across platforms (YouTube, Social and Apps, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience using Keynote to set up presentations in a Mac environment
• Any experience work at an agency or partnering with executives in that environment
• Experience supporting an executive or team within the Disney
• Interest/passion for new media video production, short form and micro content, animation and trends in technology
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
