Disney Channels Worldwide Brand Design is a team of creative experts responsible for the development and production of graphics and collateral to promote and support our three channel brands: Disney Channel, Disney XD, Disney Junior and Radio Disney. As part of the Disney Channels Worldwide Consumer Marketing team, we initiate, design and produce channel branding, logos, key art, advertising elements, photography and support graphics for use across off air, digital, apps and on air content promoting DCWW series and movies.
As a key contributor within the Brand Design team, the Brand Design Coordinator works closely with the creative and design support staff to handle project details and requests from Marketing and internal DCWW clients. The Brand Design Coordinator also works directly with Marketing and Synergy clients as a liaison between internal stakeholders and Brand Design, to ensure a smooth project process, from start to finish.
The position requires a STRONG multi-tasker, clear communicator, and someone with quick-thinking problem-solving skills, within a high volume, busy environment. As an effective and highly collaborative team player, the Traffic Coordinator must be capable of managing several projects simultaneously in a fast paced kid's television environment.
Candidate must be tech-savvy- willing to work within data and tracking systems on a daily basis. Detail oriented database entry and tracking of information related to billing, project status and client approvals are core responsibilities of the role, in support of the Traffic Manager. Knowledge of SAP data system is preferred. The Brand Design Coordinator will also work directly with commercial print vendors to secure estimates and details related to the production, delivery and fulfillment of marketing materials.
Responsibilities
Creative
• Assist with creative project workflows and communications including timelines, approvals, and follow up to keep projects on track, in budget and deliver on time.
• Maintain Creative Work Order forms between client requests and Brand Design team, ensuring complete information is received and communicated for project execution and delivery.
• Track project requests and enter data into our project tracking database (MRM) on a daily basis to keep schedules current. Assist Traffic Manager with budget information related to Brand Design projects.
• Work directly with print and fulfillment vendors for estimating of projects and communication of project schedules and details.
• As directed by Traffic Manager, coordinate the production and fulfillment of marketing materials for internal and external promotional support. Requires strong daily communication and follow through with design team and clients, as well as production vendors.
MRM (Disney Marketing Resource Management project/budget database)
• Work within the MRM module to input Deliverables & data for department project tracking
• Assist with maintaining budget categories across 5 different budget segments.
• Reconcile and process invoices within MRM system with internal transfers, agency billing and production vendor billing.
SAP (for invoicing and billing management)
• Process Invoices and create Purchase Orders in the Disney SAP software system
• Update SAP Vendor List and info as needed
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in project support or general administrative support required
• Skilled in both Mac and PC platforms with a willingness to learn Disney data tracking systems.
• Extreme attention to detail, grace under pressure and eagerness to collaborate with team members, business clients and trusted vendors as part of a creative corporate environment.
Required Education
• Bachelor's Degree with experience in a creative agency or similar environment.
