Full Time Job
We have a new and exciting entry level opportunity for a Junior Analyst – Compensation, Benefits and Workforce Planning to join the Disney EMEA C&B Team, on a 12 month fixed term contract.
The Junior Analyst will primarily focus on the preparatory and daily tasks under supervision of the C&B Senior Analyst and C&B Manager. The main duties will be coordination of Compensation and Benefit workflows and routine analysis and reporting of data. The candidate will also coordinate the weekly headcount requests, ensuring the required information is gathered from and communicated to HR.
As the successful candidate develops a basic understanding of how the team operates they will begin to work with more autonomy on compensation analyses (e.g. salary benchmarking, bonus calculations, informing salary recommendations) in addition to compiling ad hoc reports, data checking and coordination on an international scale amongst our international HR colleagues.
Responsibilities
Day to day work will involve:
• Aiding the coordination of the C&B cyclical activities such as annual salary planning, annual bonus calculations and salary range compilation.
• Routine salary and benefit benchmarking and appraisal (against internal and external market)
• Be a point-of-contact for HR in the absence of C&B Analyst/Manager.
• Communicating with HR contacts across EMEA in order to collate or distribute information in relation to Compensation/Benefits related activities.
• Collating and presenting results of data analysis via excel or PowerPoint.
• Supporting the team in C&B data cleansing, validation, data analysis and reporting work.
• Data input into appropriate trackers and templates.
Headcount Management Day to day work will involve:
• Prepare and coordinate the weekly headcount meeting requests, consolidating all headcount requests, following up with the relevant HR Business Partners for additional information and completing approval tasks following the headcount meeting.
• Monitor HAMM request approval times and prompt the next resolver or the relevant HR Business Partner as required.
• Support on Headcount Management projects and administration, as and when required.
Project work will include:
• Creating and coordinating simple project plans for Global Processes, ensuring deadlines are adhered to.
• Benchmarking analysis of whole departments in order to pinpoint priorities.
• Supporting C&B Analyst and C&B Manager on projects, as and when required.
• Coordination and aiding the submission of salary surveys.
Basic Qualifications
Prior experience in Compensation & Benefits is not required but experience within a HR environment would be highly advantageous.
The ideal candidate would demonstrate competence in the following areas, either through prior work experience or through a related graduate degree:
• Analysis
• Communication
• Information Sharing
• Planning and Organizing
• Highly numerate. Minimum basic-intermediate proficiency in mathematics.
HR Graduates or professionals with an interest in C&B may apply for this role.
Technical Skills
• A high level of competence with Excel is essential. Familiarity with Excel advanced formulae (charting, vlookups, pivot tables) is preferred
• High proficiency in other Microsoft Office packages: Powerpoint, Word, Outlook
• A proficiency in/experience using HR Information Systems (SAP or PeopleSoft) would be an advantage

• High level of customer service and stakeholder management
