WABC-TV's Eyewitness News is seeking a dynamic and engaging news anchor to join our weekday morning news team.
Responsibilities:
Co-anchor the 4:30am, 5:00am and 6:00am newscasts along with morning news cut-ins; fill-in on other shows, and other temporary assignments, as needed; gather and report news for TV and our digital properties; engage with the audience both on air and online. We are looking for an anchor who is a great journalist, communicator, writer and story-teller, both from the set and in the field who will contribute to every platform and maintain an active presence at community events.
Basic Qualifications:
Must have prior experience anchoring television news preferably in a large market and growing audience; be able to work under intense deadline pressure; have ability to turn stories for multiple newscasts and provide original content for our digital landscape.
