Full Time Job
Support Director on a number of Corporate Education Partnership programs. Manages day to day operations for developing and executing program deliverables that meet client objectives. Is accountable and takes ownership of projects and client communications.
Responsibilities:
Strategy
1. Demonstrates a core understanding of marketing tools and techniques on behalf of several different client directives
2. Develops an understanding of internal (and external) stakeholder disciplines and collaborates across departments
3. Participates in overall planning process
4. Works with client and account leader(s) to determine program parameters and overall requirements
5. Assists with program metrics, research findings, data, competitive activity, etc.,
6. Assists program team in developing program-specific creative strategies and ongoing optimizations
7. Works with program team to review all creative documents to ensure they are strategically on target
8. Reviews analysis of program results and makes recommendations to drive engagement
Client Relations
9. Supports client contact on day-to-day program development and leads client communication on specific assignments you are accountable for
10. May develop or assist account leader(s) in preparing and delivering client presentations and recommendations
11. Ensures client needs and deliverables are met
12. Establishes and maintains a positive relationship with clients
13. Finds solutions to day-to-day issues/problems including liaising internally on behalf of client
14. Provides feedback to team and to individuals on client-related issues as appropriate
15. Recommends new techniques to resolving issues
16. Demonstrates to client how Discovery Education adds value
Financial Management
17. Helps to manage key aspects of budgets (including review/approval of POs/Invoices)
18. Oversees expenses and ensures that budgets will not be exceeded and that budgets are revised as needed
19. Works to identify cost saving measures throughout program development and execution
Project Management
20. Demonstrates extreme attention to detail to ensure flawless delivery of deliverables
21. Ensures that schedules are developed upfront and are closely monitored throughout the program to ensure on time deliverables
22. Takes ownership of program deliverables assigned and proactively coordinates and organizes efforts among departments
23. Researches and resolves program issues in conjunction with account leaders
24. Provides appropriate direction to team members and other departments to meet program and client deliverables
25. Works with team to raise issues/points of view and develop a unified point-of-view to client
26. Reviews all work of team and other departments to ensure quality and timeliness and to ensure it meets client and program objectives
27. Secures appropriate client and internal approvals before work is released
28. Ensures that sound business principles are applied and followed
29. Continuously notifies team and client on program progress
30. Prepares conference reports for internal and client meetings as needed
31. Conducts ”work-in-progress” meetings when necessary
32. Issues client status reports and necessary program documentation
33. Supports account team with sell-in for new project ideas to client and utilizes Discovery resources
34. Researches and updates team on current industry news related to client projects
35. Manages contractors remotely
Requirements:
* At least 3 years’ experience (3-5 years preferred) in project management/marketing/advertising position
* Proven project management skills including budget management, developing schedules, etc..
* Fluent in Spanish, experience working in Latin America preferred
* Ability to multi-task while prioritizing workloads
* Self-starter but collaborates well in a team environment
* Attention to detail
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Candidate must be willing to travel for work meetings and events
* Must have the legal right to work in the US
