Full Time Job
Serves as a primary interface between Technology, Digital Studio, and Production to facilitate the delivery of technology solutions to the facility. Oversees the production of documentation, responsible for administrative duties for the technology department, and assists in technical project management. Initiates tasks or processes to streamline operations of the department.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
• Participates in show approach planning with key stake holders, attends weekly show technology meetings, publishes agendas and notes, follows up on action items with technology teams and shows
• Responsible for administrative management tasks for the Technology Supervisors, including show bookings, timecard and vacation approvals, and assisting in the performance review process; attends weekly staffing meetings on behalf of the Technology team
• Works with Technology Management and Digital Studio Management to create project plans and schedules for software development, testing, and deployment, ensuring consistent communication throughout the lifecycle of a project
• Leads the maintenance of the Technology department web pages
• Oversees the creation and maintenance of facility documentation for proprietary applications with the support of the Digital Studio and Technology teams
• Assists the Technology Producer with mid-show and end of show technical post-mortem process, including planning, agendas, documentation and follow up with show leadership and all facility departments
• Working with R&D Supervisor, responsible for ensuring the proper release and support documentation is produced and maintained for all new software development projects
• Provides project management for assigned areas of responsibility and follows up on feature requests and bug reports as needed
Education and/or Experience Required:
• 3-5 years administrative and/or technical project management support, preferably supporting senior level technology managers
Skills, Abilities, Special Licenses or Certificate:
• Must be computer literate with strong Word, Excel, and Project skills and the ability to type 60 WPM; Power Point and Shotgun knowledge preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle many tasks efficiently within a high pressure environment while meeting strict deadlines
• Proven ability to interact effectively within the department and across the organization
• Must be a self-starter and detail oriented
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
