We represent the interests of Hollywood film studios, motion picture exhibition facilities, and industry-leading manufacturers as a trusted service, installation and equipment provider. Our offices are located in Westchester County and Manhattan, NY.
We are looking for an Audio Visual Field Technician that would be interested in adding the disciplines of Digital Cinema to their existing skill set.
The Audio Visual Field Technician is tasked with the service and installation of AV and Digital Cinema systems from inception to completion ensuring client satisfaction. The duties of this position include but are not limited to the following:
• Performs field maintenance on projection equipment, sound systems, servers, power supplies, digital signage, etc.
• Provide demand field service for customers; determines and executes a support plan.
• Inspects equipment and assemblies for defects and replaces defective components. Repairs equipment and performs field testing. Resolves firmware and software issues.
• Communicate directly with equipment manufacturers and vendors.
• Specification of projectors, screens and general AV equipment.
• Specification and configuration of sound reinforcement systems.
• Development of detailed equipment lists and budgets.
• System and equipment configuration, customer training and ongoing systems service.
Preferred Qualifications:
• BAS, in Electronic Technologies or a related field. Equivalent experience and/or military training.
• Professional certifications (CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I, CEDIA)
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, Visio and Database Programs.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings (architectural, mechanical, and electrical systems) and related documentation.
