dick clark productions, a diverse entertainment company and producer of a wide range of television programming, including awards shows, specials, and reality series, is seeking a highly qualified SVP Sales, Integrated Marketing & Branded Entertainment. This position will be based in Santa Monica, CA.
Job Description
dick clark productions is seeking a highly connected and successful media and sponsorship sales candidate who thrives on energy, ambition, and success. Candidate will be selling cross-platform integrated packages in the branded entertainment space. This includes media assets such as television spots, TV custom integrations, digital and social assets, IP rights and promotions, event sponsorships and hospitality packages as examples. In this role, the primary responsibility is selling dcp's media inventory to national advertising clients and brands, as well as advertising agencies that represent those brands. This position will be based in Santa Monica, CA.
Primary Responsibilities & Duties
• Work for and with EVP & Chief Revenue Officer to generate new business and revenue
• Manage current client renewal and up-sell efforts to maximize return, expansion of programs, and longer term contractual relationships
• Research and identify prospects for current inventory
• Create, write and design customized advertising and partnership platform briefs/proposals to prospect
• Provide valuation models and impression reports to assist in sponsorship acquisition
• Manage client through sales process from introduction to contract execution
• Coordinate with client services team for proper fulfillment of all programs (including recap reporting)

• Cognizant of advertising and sponsorship spending trends across all categories
• Able to identify and exploit emerging trends and technologies
• Must be a leader and team player; ability to provide clear and concise direction/feedback to management.
• Strong project management abilities; capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time constraints and across time-zones
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; MSFT PowerPoint a must (keynote preferred)
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
Education and Experience Requirements
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in digital media and/or branded entertainment or television sales.
• Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field.
• Functional experience and/or knowledge will include:
• Specific advertising (media) sales and marketing insight and expertise.
• Familiarity and comfortably building relationships and presenting to senior client and agency personnel in media (e.g.: strategy, content, digital), and client-side marketing/sponsorship/activation teams
• Knowledge and ability to read and understand entertainment and licensing legal contracts
• Expertise at development of a fully integrated marketing program.
