Dick Clark Productions, a diverse entertainment company and producer of a wide range of television programming, including awards shows, specials, and reality series, is seeking a highly qualified Account Coordinator, Integrated Marketing & Branded Entertainment. This position will be based in Santa Monica.
Description
As a member of the Revenue Operations department, the Account Coordinator is an integral part of the team tasked with generating and servicing fully integrated sponsorships for Dick Clark's programming. The Account Coordinator is primarily responsible for providing account and administrative support to the director and manager leading up to, during and after events.
Responsibilities
• Report to and communicate daily with the account director and manager
• Support account manager in management of major high-profile client accounts to ensure timely and successful delivery of all executions pre-, during and post-events
• Create and manage client event inventory lists (e.g., scopes of work, credentials, hotels, shipments, schedules, photographer shot lists)
• Supervise client hospitality execution at the direction of the account manager (e.g. meet & greets, parties, dinners, rehearsals, red carpet)
• Support account manager in identifying client needs and developing strategies to execute
• Support account manager in liaising with internal teams (e.g., digital/brand team, production, PR, legal) to ensure successful execution of client needs
• Support account manager in liaising with broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC) to ensure successful execution of client needs
• Support account manager in liaising with DCP partners (e.g., Billboard, Academy of Country Music, Times Square Alliance) to ensure successful execution of client needs
• Prepare client account service-related documents such as call/meeting agendas, call/meeting recaps and other client communications
• Participate in and document discussions during client meetings and calls
• Assist account manager in organizing and managing client walk-throughs while on-site at events
• In conjunction with the digital brand team, support account manager in the post-event client reporting process
• Participate in internal creative meetings with digital brand team
• Support account manager in developing strategic sales materials for presentations to current and prospective clients
Requirements
• Up to 1 year of proven account management or other relevant experience (preferably from a brand or agency)
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work weekends during events
• Motivated and passionate team-player
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• BA/BS degree
