Deluxe Media is a global company with presence in 6 countries. Our clients include the major Hollywood studios as well as a growing number of on-line retailers.
We currently have an opening for an experienced Accounting/Office Coordinator. This position will be located in Burbank, CA.
Primary Responsibilities - Accounting Coordinator
• Position will ensure customer purchase-order requests, invoices, and other revenues are accurately generated, budgeted, and forecasted. This is a high-volume invoicing position. Knowledge of how to prepare invoices is an absolute must.
• Identify, communicate, and resolve related issues. Liaison with Accounts Receivable and customers as necessary.
• Weekly reconciliation of project status versus invoice.
• Prepare weekly results sales reports for domestic, international, content/advanced, and new media categories.
• Provide relevant, timely, concise, and materially accurate information to operations and financial management. Accuracy with numbers and reporting is critical.
• Assist in preparing and summarizing monthly trending reports for senior management.
• Implement and improve financial accounting control procedures.
• Job costing. Interface with producers to track jobs from beginning to end.
• Assist in month-end close responsibilities including journal entries and accruals.
• Improve data collection, summarization, and analysis methods. Design meaningful reports for financial analysis.
• Create new job numbers in both QuickBooks and File Maker Pro, including top line descriptions of projects.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, experience, and skill-set:
• 3-5 years accounting/general office experience.
• High level of QuickBooks proficiency required.
• Excellent attention to detail is a must.
• Strong analytical skills.
• High level of PC proficiency.
• SAP system and process knowledge preferred.
• Problem-solving skills - approaches problems as challenges.
• Strong written and verbal communication as well as client service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Professional and friendly demeanor.
• Flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends to meet project deadlines.
• Must own a car, have a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record.
