General Summary:
The Trailer Mastering /Studio support Coordinator will report to an Account Executive to help schedule and track the creation of Domestic and International DCP's through the Digital Cinema Process. Internally the Mastering Coordinator/Studio Support coordinator will be working directly with DDC's vault, mastering, digital bookings, and QC departments. The MC will also have contact with outside Post Supervisors, Studio representatives, and Creative talent. Day to day, a MC/SC will work with an AE to schedule a project(s) from the receipt of all source material (DCDM's, HDSR'S, QT etc.), through the creation of mastering work orders, the tracking of work orders through the mastering, subtitling, QC processes and client screenings. All candidates must have an understanding of the Digital Cinema Packaging workflow, good working relationship with clients as well as a basic knowledge of the DI workflow. The Trailer Mastering /Studio support Coordinator must be a good communicator, be well organized, work well in a team environment, work last minute OT and have the ability to facilitate multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
Job Specific Tasks:
MASTERING
• Helping the Account Executive in initial planning and organization of a project timeline.
• Developing the task and contact list for a project
• Working with Post facilities and vendors to facilitate delivery of source materials
• Working with the vault to receive and confirm delivery of source materials
• Scheduling of mastering processes from encoding through QC
• Creation of Work Orders in DDC's proprietary Work Flow system
• Scheduling of both internal QC and Client QC screenings
Organization and tracking of International Versioning of projects (Subbed and Dubbed, 2D and 3D) through the encoding, wrapping, and QC stages
• Contact with Post Supervisors, Studios, and Vendors for the return of all source materials
• Communicating with clients for the Account Executive when needed
STUDIO SUPPORT
• Enter studio bookings into the inventory control and shipping software
• Inventory management of physical drives with DCPs
• Issue keys according to bookings and studio rules
• Coordinate shipping of drives with studio liaison
• Coordinate with exhibitor support and key team.
• Responsible for sending daily updates to clients
• CPL management
• Coordinate the creation of invoices for drives and keys with billing
• General Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access)
• Various Digital Cinema Playback Systems (Doremi, Dolby, SONY, etc.)
• Various Digital Cinema Projectors
• Digital Cinema Ancillary equipment (Closed Captioning Devices, DBOX, 3D Viewing systems, etc.)
• Filemaker Pro (ENIGMA)
• FLICS
