We currently have an opening for a Systems Analyst. This position will be located in Burbank, CA.
SUMMARY:
The Systems Analyst will work with operations on support issues, including application development, application patching, and version upgrades. The Analyst is responsible for the support lifecycle which includes documentation and troubleshooting, closure, and post issue support. The Analyst also ensures that policies and procedures, and client SLAs are followed. The Analyst acts as a resource to the project management group.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manages all aspects of application support, including issue tracking and customer expectations.
• Responds to operational issues, analyzes problems, and makes recommendations as necessary.
• Acts as a liaison between users, site management, and IT.
• Communicates with site users and IT as necessary to maintain high standards.
• Communicates status on issues on a regular basis to team members.
• Ensures proper Q/A is done on releases and fixes prior to deploying to production environments.
• Serves as a point of contact for any inquiries, special requests or training related to Xytech.
• Acts as liaison between Deluxe and Xytech Systems.
• Performs month-end closure and reconciliation activities for non-SAP billing systems and reconcile with SAP.
• Addresses day-to-day issues regarding billing and master data imports into SAP.
• Performs OnBase system administration, maintenance and provides user support.
• Performs BMC FootPrints system administration, maintenance and provides user support.
• Creates and distributes Knowledge Articles, training documents, and reference materials.
• Performs project management duties as needed.
• Travels as necessary.
• Provides a weekly report to supervisor with a summary of the week's accomplishments, next week's goals, and a summary of any issues or constraints.
• In general, all other projects and/or assignments as requested by management.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's or Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field is desired but not required.
• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or similar certification desired but not required.
• Minimum of 3 years application and system administration experience.
• Proficient in T-SQL programming.
• Experience with SSRS report creation
• Ability to effectively identify, troubleshoot and resolve support issues.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Proven ability to understand customer needs.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Proficient in IT structured analysis methodologies, including process flow definition and data flow diagramming.
• Ability to train end-users on application functionality and features.
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, clients and other IT personnel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Highly advanced analytical and reasoning skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time and resources efficiently and effectively.
• Ability to work independently and be resourceful is required.
• Must be comfortable working in an extremely fast-paced environment and maintain sensitivity to personnel and corporate concerns.
