We are seeking a Sales Director with 5 years of technical sales experience using our Burbank, CA facility.
Overview:
This self- motivated individual will be responsible for expanding our OTT TVE business targeting major retailers, CE/mobile device manufactures, mobile and telco operators and programmers. The role requires a personable candidate, with a solid technical background, capable of build relationships at all levels within an account. Critical skills include the ability to work with internal operations/engineering teams to draft professional proposals outlining technical solutions, services and associated fees in a simplified structure.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Capable of identifying and engaging C-level decision makers, while effectively communicating key objectives, drafting proposals, removing objections and negotiating contracts to closure.
• Technically competent to discuss features and benefits, understand at a high level the project requirements and leverage that knowledge to effectively position Deluxe.
• Consistently provide accurate business updates and visibility into obstacles and opportunities, and work with internal resources to identify and execute solutions.
• Actively identify and cultivate new markets and applications for existing products, while providing direction and feedback to the product development and marketing teams.
• Assist in strategic planning and product positioning
Required Experience:
• Bachelors degree or higher
• 5 years sales experience in hi-tech technical sales
• Solid grasp of multimedia and OTT services
• Proven ability to identify and implement clear simple solutions to complex issues
• Self-motivated, proactive, and a true team player
• Positive, competitive, and passionate attitude towards winning
• Work well under pressure; meeting multiple and sometimes competing deadlines and an effective closer.
