We have an opening for a Freelance Quality Control (QC) Technician for Video and Audio Masters. This position will be located in Northvale, NJ.
MUST be bilingual Spanish – fluent in writing, reading and speaking the language and have a discriminating eye for video quality.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the on-time delivery of highest quality, error-free video and audio masters.
- 100% viewing of all media as it relates to content, technical quality, and client specifications
Documentation of any content or technical errors
- Additional editing tasks as needed
Qualifications
- B.A. / B.S. in television/radio/video production; or HS diploma, technical certification, college courses or military electronics training with equivalent experience
- Experience with video mastering, audio and/video quality assurance experience, digital signal processing Experience and demonstrated knowledge of electronics and computer skills
- Demonstrated ability to learn new software and processes
- Strong team player with ability to communicate status and issues to team and management
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proven ability to work within a set deadline and other constraints without sacrificing creativity and quality of final product
- Comfortable working with Adult Content
- Ability to communicate status and issues to team members
- Strong technical ability and able to pick up unfamiliar video tools and processes
- Must be fluent in Spanish (written and verbal skills)
