Primary Responsibilities
• Supervise SD and BD EQC team.
• Keep QC checklists/verifications forms up-to-date at all times.
• Manage and maintain all EQC paperwork and update as necessary.
• Frequently train entire QC staff on checklists/verification forms.
• Conduct weekly audits to ensure staff is following procedures.
• Motivate EQC staff by conducting weekly meeting for stellar performance.
• Enforce good habits by continuous audits and further training of the entire staff.
• Implement efficient procedures and test plans (as necessary) to achieve 100% quality.
• Implement new QC procedures and test plans for new technology formats.
• Prepare CARs for DM caused version ups.
• Manage capacity constrains and present solution for the BU.
• Prepare weekly deficits for QC resource and manage off-load work to other BU/QC facility.
• Participate and contribute in planning for all BD projects (internal or with client).
• Schedule EQC and TD QC when required.
• Maintain and implement client spec updates.
• Must maintain OMS data management and achieve 100% accuracy at all times.
• Prepare Work instructions for EQC when required.
• Report weekly QC audits to BU director.
• Prepare and submit monthly management reviews.
• Approve and submit Kronos timecards in timely fashion.
• Approve and submit Time Tracker hours in timely fashion.
• Approve vacation and other time off requests.
Qualifications
• BS degree in computer science or programming, electronics or A/V technology related field (or equivalent experience).
• Individual must possess a fundamental understanding of digital audio, digital video, multimedia, and consumer electronic devices.
• Individual must be detail-oriented and focused.
• Basic computer skills (PC) are required (e.g. copying files to various media, etc.)
• Must be proficient with OMS and promote its usage with staff.
• 1-2 years experience in quality control in an audio and/or video post production environment.
• Supervisory and/or leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends to meet project deadlines.
