The position: QA / Support Engineer
The Digital Cinema Team is looking for a talented, creative and motivated full-time QA / Support Engineer to help grow Deluxe's fast-growing digital cinema business. The work is challenging, creative, fast paced and intellectually stimulating. Strong analytical skills, entrepreneurial spirit, ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and a strong commitment to teamwork are a best fit for this position.
Job Description
Develops, publishes, and implements test plans. Writes and maintains test automation. Develops quality assurance standards. Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience working with development in C, C , Java, Python or similar. Must have a working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies. Familiar with Linux or similar environments. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. Creative problem solver with excellent organizational skills able to work in an integrated team environment.
Responsibilities:
Design, code, and support new and existing Digital Cinema tools and applications.
Assume a leadership role in the Software Team, ensuring professional code, control and quality standards.
Work with business development and upper management to integrate software roadmap into business plan.
Requirements
BS or MS in EE, Computer Science or equivalent.
Minimum of 5-7 years of QA experience, with a focus on product development.
Experience with database-driven products;
Good knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and web technologies such as Javascript, Web Service, PHP, etc.
Knowledge of secure architectures and programming.
Experience developing/designing medium to large software systems and team building.
Experience with Agile and Continuous Development / Testing environment, test automation tools (Jenkins, Buildbot, etc.) a plus
