Broadcast and Corporate Production Manager, Subtitling & Localization
Deluxe Digital Studios, Inc. is seeking a Broadcast and Corporate Production Manager, Subtitling and Localization for Burbank, CA.
Position Overview
Assign editing/translation/subtitling duties and tasks. Recruit, interview, and train staff working in relation to NCI/ECI projects. Build and maintain relationships with clients by organizing and attending client meetings. Provide specialized technical (editing/translation/subtitling) and project management support to sales personnel. Coordinate and monitor performance of Project Managers to ensure all project requirements are followed through. Ensure all subtitling work is performed correctly by liaising with relevant department heads. Monitor the quality of all subtitled output delivered to production facilities designated by clients. Liaised with facility houses as related to the needs of each project and as per client instructions. Assisted in training new translators/subtitlers and project managers with the use of the subtitling software Swift. Provide progress and assessment reports. Ensured timely completion and delivery of all translation/subtitling projects. Review and critiqued the performance of translators/subtitlers using Swift.
Qualifications
Foreign language ability is not a requirement. Must have 24 months direct experience.
