We are seeking an Account Manager (Media Manager) with 5 years of experience working with the studios to work out of our Burbank CA facility.
The Media Manager will provide critical support within the Content Operations team, overseeing a high volume of incoming content on a daily basis, from various sources and content providers. This individual will work closely with D3's customers and other teams such as Programming, Sales, Finance, Operations, Encoding, and Engineering. The ideal candidate will be able to see the big picture of Deluxe Digital Distribution content operations workflow, in addition to overseeing the ingest of content in our internal content management systems. The Content Manager must be flexible and be able to handle a fluid work environment, and be extremely detail-oriented.
Responsibilities:
• Key customer contact to coordinate all asset acquisition with content providers and third party labs for on time delivery of all titles in a customer's order
• Source monthly content planners from content provider, or broadcast / cable network
• Provide monthly forecasts for operational throughput capacity planning, analysis and revenue forecasts.
• Provide the customer regular status, such as missing asset reports, pitch schedule and delivery schedule to the customer
• Oversee a high volume of content deliveries for processing in multi-bitrate encoding and packaging for delivery to support STB, CE devices, PC's/Mac's, iOS and Android devices
• Work with third-party content providers and customers, establishing and maintaining relationships, making sure that the Operations team receives assets and files on time and in compliance with policies.
• Manage and track all asset acquisition according the customer and company SLAs.
• Enter all title orders for each customer in our internal asset management tracking system
• Perform title recognition of incoming asserts to the planners, working with the content provider to acquire missing asset
• Perform analysis and provide weekly reports of forecasted titles to actual titles
• Work with the production team to acquire new asset or missing asset required for production
• Work with Operations addressing questions on metadata and artwork
• Ensure that Operations has all required asset for production to deliver a complete order to the customer
• Coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure on time delivery of all customer deliverables. Set priorities according the daily work schedules and delivery SLA (Quick turn, Next Day Air, New Release, C3, and other content types according the delivery schedule
• Ensure all content deadlines are met.
• Help establish and analyze content reports and metrics for the Content Operations team
Requirements:
• 5 years industry experience working in a deadline-drive content environment
• Experience working with content providers, vendors and studios, and ability to effectively communicate D3's (Deluxe Digital Distribution) content needs and policies.
• Experience working within a content management systems (CMS), and ability to work with engineers and third-party vendors that support and maintain the CMS.
• Must be extremely knowledgeable on Metadata, especially Episodic metadata and Cablelabs.
• Experience analyzing reports, to gauge whether any edits or additions are necessary to workflows, and communicate suggestions to stakeholders.
• Advanced MS Excel & Word skills
• Must have a proven track record in keeping with high quality standards
• Ability to thrive in a startup environment
