We currently have an opening for an Account Coordinator – Distributed Workforce. This position is located in Burbank, California.
Primary Responsibilities
• Works with DM Manager to draft job-specific postings for craigslist and job search sites.
• Pre-screens resumes for DM manager approval to invite for training.
• Coordinates training invitations to new and existing contractors.
• Tracks progress and approval of new and existing contractors through the training process for new jobs.
• Provides feedback and data corrections to distributed workforce during the training process.
• Maintains awareness of job completion status and notifies DM manager when additional resources are needed to meet deadlines.
• On-boards new hires into the done console (or equivalent system) and assists them through startup process.
• Assigns jobs for logging.
• Assigns jobs for review/flags good loggers for review.
• Assists in training reviewers.
• Handles all communication from the distributed workers and loops info to DM Manager when necessary. Distributed workforce often needs assistance with:
o Clarification of guidelines.
o Clarification on anomalies or suspect jobs.
o Invoicing assistance.
o Tool functionality and troubleshooting assistance.
o HR-related assistance (address changes, W-9 updates, missing paperwork, etc.).
• Organizes check-in sessions and Q&A sessions for the distributed workforce when necessary.
• Provides additional corrections or feedback to loggers when needed.
• Assists/suggests when additional group feedback is needed for loggers, either in the form of a Q&A sessions or written updates.
• Ensures that ''suspect'' or ''video issue'' jobs are properly tracked.
• Recognizes anomalies or glitches in the tools/proxies and knows how and when to report issues to the DM Manager.
• Assists in scheduling new hires for upcoming jobs, and helps maintain an appropriate number of contractors in the pool.
• Performs management-level metadata review.
• Handles all aspects of the transcription department hiring, assigning, training, and review (includes all functions mentioned above). Currently also does a significant portion of transcription work when contractors are not available to accept jobs.
• Handles all aspects of Getty clip selection and clip logging assignments.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, experience, and skill-set:
• BA or BS degree preferred.
• 1-2 years account coordinator experience preferred, but entry-level candidates will be considered.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills.
• Must be highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced, large team environment.
• Individual must also be able to work independently within their own process.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form.
• Flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends to meet project deadlines.
