Deluxe Media is a global company with presence in 9. countries. Our clients include the major Hollywood studios as well as a growing number of on-line retailers.
We currently have a temporary opening for a Vault Specialist. This position will be located in Burbank, CA.
Primary Responsibilities
•Create or update reports by collecting data from various sources and entering into spreadsheet. This may include weekly progress status reports, asset tracking reports, priority list updates, internal project task list, etc.
• Will accurately log the metadata of incoming tapes and other physical media into the Deluxe inventory system in a timely manner.
• Will promptly notify project management of the receipt of new incoming media.
• Will ensure that all physical media is available in the database and at specific office locations within a one hour time period.
• Will ensure all physical media is stored securely in the vault when not in production.
• Will perform accurate transactions on all media in the Deluxe Inventory system.
• Will be responsible for the security of all incoming and outgoing media.
• Will learn and keep up-to-date on all work instructions, vault security procedures, and policies.
• Will provide accurate and timely database entries, updating database video page and e-mail correspondences.
• Individual will deal directly with employees in every DM department. All other areas within the DM process will use the information organized by this individual, and this information will have a direct effect on how work is scheduled.
• Will perform other administrative duties as assigned, such as copying documents, copying CDs, filing, archiving of CDs and/or tapes.
• Some physical labor required.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, experience, and skill-set:
• Must have 6 mos. - 2 years of experience in A/V post production environment.
• Education and/or experience in video post-production are required.
• Familiarity with the different types of tape based media (i.e. DBC, HDCAMSR) is required.
• Familiarity with video frame rates (PAL, NTSC NDF, and NTSC DF) is required.
• Familiarity with the Windows operating system is required.
• Must have demonstrated ability to multi-task.
• Must have a professional attitude and the ability to work cooperatively with co-workers.
• Must be able to take and follow directions from department supervisor.
• Strong organization, communication (verbal and written), and computer skills a must.
• Superior attention to detail and must be very patient.
