We are seeking a VP, Client Services with 10+ years of experience working with the studios, Content Providers to work out of our Burbank CA facility.
The VP of Client Services will oversee a team that is responsible for working with Studios, Network and other content providers to acquire content for a large customer. This individual will work closely our Deluxe onDemand customer and other teams such as Programming,
Sales, Finance, Operations, Encoding, and Engineering. The ideal candidate will be able to see the big picture of Deluxe onDemand content operations workflow, in addition to overseeing the team responsible for the acquisition and tracking of content in our
internal content management systems. The Manager of Client Services must be flexible and be able to handle a fluid work environment, and be extremely detail-oriented.
Responsibilities:
• Manager a team of 10-12 that are responsible for managing working with Studios, Networks, Broadcaster and other content providers to ensure the acquisition and delivery of content to meet this customers expectations.
• Build/grow relationships with third-party content providers
• Oversee the account team's management of content providers to meet our customers delivery requirements, perform monthly reviews of Content Providers deliverables, set plans in place to correct workflow issues
• Hold monthly, weekly, daily calls with Content Providers as needed
• Provide our Customer updates on content provider performance, produce weekly performance reports and present to the customer
• Escalation point for any content delivery issues
• Generate the weekly Deluxe onDemand revenue forecast
• Manage the forecasting process, perform analysis of planner to actuals, work with customer to obtain approvals of forecast and provide weekly reports of forecasted titles to actual titles
• Oversee the daily reporting to the customer of asset acquisition, missing asset reports, pitch schedule and delivery schedule to the customer, validate accuracy of each report
• Oversee the title recognition process of incoming asserts to the planners, working with the team to ensure they acquire missing asset
• Ensure that Operations has all required asset for production to deliver a complete order to the customer
• Coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure on time delivery of all customer deliverables. Set priorities according the daily work schedules and delivery SLA (Quick turn, Next Day Air, New Release, C3, and other content types according the delivery
schedule .
• Help establish and analyze content reports and metrics for the Content Operations team and the Deluxe On Demand Management team
Requirements:
• 10+ years industry experience working in a deadline-drive content environment
• 10+ Year working with Studios, Networks and Broadcasters
• Experience working with content providers, vendors and studios, and ability to effectively communicate Deluxe onDemand content needs and policies.
• Experience working within a content management systems (CMS), and ability to work with engineers and third-party vendors that support and maintain the CMS.
• Must be extremely knowledgeable on Metadata, especially Episodic metadata
• Experience analyzing reports, to gauge whether any edits or additions are necessary to workflows, and communicate suggestions to stakeholders.
• Advanced MS Excel & Word skills
• 7+ years managing a team, experience building strong teams, excellent leadership skills
• Must have a proven track record in keeping with high quality standards
• Ability to thrive in a startup environment
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
