All of which are critical for VOD/ EST platforms and global distribution and management of the digital supply chain.

We currently have an opening for a Sr. Director, Onboarding. This position will be located in Burbank, CA.
Position Overview
The role of the Sr. Director, Onboarding is to implement the best practices in onboarding and service relationship management, to further the goal of strengthening Deluxe's bond with and to provide value-added service offerings to Distributors. The role will entail planning, execution, and implementation of the distributor management operations for global clients.
The Sr. Director, Onboarding will play a critical role in ensuring high service quality at Deluxe by working with Operations Directors to operationalize new workflows and establishing new processes, checklists, toolsets, etc. The position will also work with R&D team on new formats and technologies (e.g. 4K, HDR, UHD, etc.) and to facilitate the transition of these technologies to operational groups.
Primary Responsibilities
• Leads multiple Onboarding engineers and build the team by coaching/training/recruiting, etc.
• Act as interface between the internal 'client' (e.g. Operations teams, R&D, Client Services, etc.) and Onboarding team.
• Prioritizing, project planning, and project leadership for concurrent Onboarding projects, working closely with Operations teams and Client Services.
• Ensure creation and use of appropriate test materials (documentation, onboarding tests, etc.)
• Optimize, integrate, streamline, and standardize Digital Distribution workflows throughout all clients.
• Collaborate with IT/Engineering on work flow and infrastructure touch points.
• Interface with R&D to define, develop, integrate, and train others on new software tools and systems.
• Proactively engage in testing live production in effort to monitor production and mitigate risk.
• Research market technology for continued solutions for our workflows.
• Develop methods for determining customer requirements and process performance requirements.
• Suggest development of tools for product checking, production monitoring, hardware/software performance monitoring, and tools to sustain hardware capability as applicable.
• Recommend process flows that minimize/reduce cycle time and optimize opportunities for cost reduction and reliability improvement.
• Identify the need for and assist with the implementation of process controls.
• Monitor for continuous process improvement and process reliability improvement.
• Monitor and manage changes by recommending updates to tools, expansion of the knowledge base, and through the sharing of best practices.
• Perform scheduled and non-scheduled process and workflow audits to determine the adherence to specifications and quality levels and to determine robustness and improvement opportunity.
• Achieve minimum process reliability requirements by utilizing metrics and customer expectations prior to exporting to Operations.
• Mentor Onboarding Engineers and Operations on new technologies.
• Interface with Client Services regarding client communications.
• Develop infrastructure for new technology/workflow integration including checklists, operations tools, business systems, and developing operational and quality metrics.
• Conduct technology presentations. Conduct orientation to new process flows and infrastructure elements.
• Develop and monitor training program including work instruction based training, workflow training, and equipment/systems trainings.
• Develop methods for determining competency and assure training documents link with the transition to live work.
• Manage Distributor specifications on a daily basis. Keep a ''system'' of version control for all distributor related documents, including but not limited to specifications, contact information, and SLAs.
• Review and provide feedback for continuous enhancement in the downstream input items, tools, workflows, checklists, etc. Ensure consistency of workflows across all global divisions of Deluxe and identify areas of improvement that provide value to the Distributors/Customers and Deluxe.
• Proactively create and track Distributor and internal Deluxe metrics. This includes identifying, implementing, and tracking the KPIs agreed upon with Distributors and other customers.
• Coordinate with the Deluxe Technology, R&D, Customer Service, and Operations groups to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for the management of the service delivery to Distributors.
• Serve as the point of escalation for service related issues for Distributors.
• Partner with studio and distributor clients to streamline processes and provide guidance for workflow best practices
• Will be a point of contact for documenting workflows as well as providing functional requirements for any new tool requests.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, experience, and skill-set:
• Must have 10 years experience in full Systems Development Life Cycle.
• BS/BA degree required. Graduate degree preferred.
• Exceptional senior leadership skills and experience.
• Must have experience managing a development/video engineer team.
• Must have demonstrated career path from development through management.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and manage effectively (listen, influence, develop, motivate, and lead others).
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends to meet project deadlines.
