We currently have an opening for a Senior Director, Client Services. This position will be located in Burbank, CA.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Responsibilities include working closely with Account Service team to ensure that customer relationships are maintained and developed by receiving and processing work orders in a timely and accurate manner. Must effectively analyze and communicate information
in order to resolve customer concerns as they arise. Manage the Account Service Team to maintain optimal efficiency.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure Account Directors maintain a current and accurate understanding of all work-in-progress initiated. Oversee client and account management with single point-of-contact option for work-in-progress queries related to specific service jobs.
• Ensure that Account Directors support a defined range of products and services to assigned account clients through general product knowledge. Referral and tracking of customers to other facilities as required.
• Support service team so that they are able to maintain a positive customer relationship through both written and verbal communication as well as high levels of customer satisfaction by accurately fulfilling customer orders and resolving customer problems
on time, with high quality and a positive attitude.
• Monitor daily direction of service team to ensure the highest possible level of service to the customers.
• Ensure that Account Directors are working with scheduling, operations and logistics, and monitor the status and accuracy of initiated work orders. Resolve any resource, service completion time, or technical conflicts with the client.
• Provide supervision, direction, and leadership for a variety of internal operational activities (including staff and process development, business management and project management).
• Initiate, provide the vision, and manage the successful execution of many high-level division projects.
• Interface directly with corporate functions (including Finance & Accounting, Legal and Human Resources), internal business units and departments (creative production, technical production, client services and sales, research and development, and IT) and have
interaction with the external clients.
• Will work on daily administration duties (examples include leading meetings, resolving finance and accounting issues, and resolving human resource issues).
• Will provide high-level planning support to the department Vice President and drive various operations and staff development programs (help develop divisional goals, objectives, policies, procedures and plan, organize and direct the activities of the division).
• Will also manage complex division projects and lead teams to complete projects in a successful and timely manner.
• Manage billing and accruals. Ensure accruals are kept to an absolute minimum. Liaise with Finance as needed on billing issues.
• Work very closely with the Business Development team to ensure pricing is consistent with the workflows.
• Will need to provide forecasting and attend departmental finance meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 10+ years progressive operational and management experience.
• BS/BA degree required, graduate degree preferred (MBA).
• Experience in digital media, software, and/or creative production environment preferred.
• Exceptional senior leadership skills and experience.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and manage effectively (listen, influence, develop, motivate, and lead others).
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex and high-level projects and tasks. Individual must possess a drive for success and a proven track record for seeing projects through to completion.
• Experience in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Demonstrated high-level and cross-functional experience dealing with finance and accounting plans (including the generation of business plans), human resource programs (including staff development, reviews,
organization design), and legal issues (reviewing business contracts, non-disclosure agreements, intellectual property, etc.).
• Strong and efficient computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, plus experience with project management, flowcharting and database software).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends to meet project deadlines.
