We are seeking a Production Workflow Support Technician (Tier 2) with 3 years of experience to work on the Swing Shift. (Tues-Thurs from 3:30PM-12:00AM)
Responsibilities:
• Monitor order tracking and workflow systems for trends preventing on time delivery or affecting the quality of product
• Experience with XML files, especially Cablelabs workflow systems
• Debug Application software including log parsing, and troubleshooting across multiple components on multiple servers..
• Investigate advanced workflow issues for daily resolution
• Conforming, transcoding and other processing of Video/Audio/CC/Subtitles
• Analyzing of digital video & audio files for issues
• Describing and identifying severity of issues in video/audio assets
• Able to manually setup transcodes and create presets and troubleshooting and resolving encoding errors
Requirements:
• 4 years working in a high transaction, 24/7, web environment, and Application Programming Interface (API) calls.
• Experience with monitor solutions such as Zabbix, Nagios, Cacti, or Solarwinds, Splunk
• Willingness to work extended hours / weekends to meet project deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desired Experience
• Management experience
• Experience working with various video formats, transcoding, and DRM.
• Experience with SQL Queries and MongoDB/NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in Splunk or similar log parsing.
• 3 years of video production experience especially Rhozet
• Workflow Familiarity with basic film/video concepts, such as resolution, aspect ratios, frame rate, bit rates, NTSC, PAL, 3D, 4K
• Experience with digital video/audio encoding hardware & software (Final Cut Pro)
• Computer-literate in Windows/Mac, Microsoft Office
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask projects with varying priorities
• Good pattern recognition skills and excellent organization skills
