We currently have an opening for a Marketing Coordinator. This position will be located in Hollywood or Santa Monica, CA.
SUMMARY:
The Marketing Coordinator will have a solid background in marketing ideally some knowledge of the post production industry. They will become an expert on the workflow of our Marketing/Social Media/Public Relations department within our creative services division. The coordinator will be the liaison between all Creative Services departments including Commercial (Color Grading, VFX, Beauty, On Location), Features & Games Sales, Production and Marketing teams to identify and help execute marketing and advertising campaigns. In addition, they will manage the Creative Services various web identities and commercial/feature promo reels.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain consistent communication between the Sales, Marketing and Production teams to identify PR opportunities and marketing initiatives in support of commercial and features sales strategy. Coordinate imagery collection/approval, swag design, company web identity, film festival sponsorships/events, media storage, marketing collateral and other deliverables in support of Sales, PR and Marketing efforts.
Manage and coordinate calls with Creative Services producers and maintain a current log of projects actively being worked on across all creative locations in Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta and Chicago. The coordinator will be familiar with all Creative Services commercial and feature work and will work with the Commercial/Features Sales and PR/marketing team(s) to identify newsworthy /promotion worthy projects.
• Coordinate festival and event sponsorships with marketing collateral, event planning and assisting Marketing/Sales teams with any additional support needed.
• Work with marketing and sales to develop communications programs that support an overall messaging strategy.
• Collaborate with different business units and across various levels to gather information, distill it into cohesive messages and secure approvals on final statements and press releases.
• Coordinate news and timing with Social Media/Content Assistant.
• Maintain a consistent voice/tone through all work.
• Act as a Brand Ambassador providing a wealth of knowledge and expertise on the breadth of services offered.
Daily/weekly update of all Creative Services websites homepage with images/blurs for:
• Update archive with recently aired work in correct format liaising with local MCR departments
o Add data including blurb, meta tags, basic credits
• Populate newsroom with web friendly PR write-ups adding tags
• Provide links and short blurbs for tech corner and education resource sections
On-going Responsibilities:
• Collect and create monthly commercial sales reels for internal use highlighting work completed by all facilities from current month.
• Correlate client emails along with creating and sending company-specific eNewsletters using online platforms for both prepping and physical sending to clients.
• Update Wire drive with new spots collected from commercial producers as well as keeping track of full credits within the online database.
• Manage all company award submissions for feature film and commercial departments.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor Degree preferred.
• 2-3 years previous PR/Marketing experience.
• Understanding of Post Production industry.
• Basic knowledge of Sailthru, wire drive and website CMS.
• Proficient with CMS web management/social media platforms.
• Demonstrated proficiency composing written communications.
• Ability to think creatively, deliver clever concepts.
• Familiar with digital media formats.
• High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
• Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented
• Able to travel between creative facilities in Hollywood and Santa Monica
