The DTDC Screenvision Field Services Project Manager position is responsible for executing the on-site and remote management of the Burbank and Wilmington Field Service/Logistics staffs, which support the processes and procedures relating to service roll-out, maintenance, product acquisition, and general field service/logistical operations duties support of the Screenvision contract & potentially other businesses within the Dexluxe Technicolor Digital Cinema group as required. Project manage the rollout of Screenvision, SkyArc/MPEG, Broadband/JPEG, and Distribution/Thingest/TNG systems and activities, from customer order to internal/external service order/communications activities, through to successful installation completion, including regular and accurate monthly invoicing. Provide feedback and suggestions that will help improve the performance of the dynamic nature of the Field Services/Logistics department.
Duties / Responsibilities but are not limited to:
• Primary customer point of contact for all Field Service/Logistics rollout/activities.
• Leading and cross training a team of associates, supervisors and fellow team members while sustaining a clean, safe, quality work environment; documenting staff performance issues, providing positive and constructive evaluation of associates and to senior management team.
• Analyze technical information provided from technicians, contractors and other subcontractors and translate them into equipment build orders; this includes anticipating, recognizing and mitigating exceptions to provide smooth and efficient resolution of any issues in order to maintain rollout schedules and minimize additional effort costs.
• Working with various subcontractors, vendors, surveyors, installers, LAN cablers, satellite technicians, broadband service providers, roofers, building management and other companies to schedule, track and execute all details specific to each business line roll-out plan as dictated by customer and other general cinematic installation requirements; Coordinate de-installation activities of same as needed.
• Ability to interview, hire, fire, evaluate, promote, schedule and manage exempt and non-exempt full and part time associates to cover flexible schedules and operations workloads successfully, including daily/weekly/bi-weekly timesheet approval in the NovaTime system.
• Proactively maintain parts inventory accuracy to department and customer standards; inventory control including annual audits, and day-to-day supply-chain-management of various customer and DTDC owned equipment, parts, materials, software and labor services required to execute company provided services.
• Perform various operations to track and maintain house and field inventories within the established procedural guidelines using current and/or future computer systems environment, including Excel, OnBase, Oracle, SQL, Alert, or other applications and associated web interfaces as developed or acquired.
• Timely, effective, efficient equipment procurement purchasing including the creation of CAPEX requests, data input, processing and distribution of Purchase Requisitions/Orders in SAP/OnBase, posting invoices, applying payment and tracking for invoices, and tracking product lead and delivery times and resolving discrepancies.
• Conduct various Field Service related meeting, administration and communications activities associated with the Screenvision, SkyArc, Broadband and Distribution rollouts as required.
• Creation and input of regular monthly invoices for contractual and ad-hoc service billings as needed
• Assist in the definition and ongoing maintenance of existing departmental processes and procedures for staging of systems for the digital satellite, terrestrial, digital cinema and/or on-screen advertising rollouts.

• A positive, detail oriented leader who leads by example, and has experience in a ''zero-defect'' distribution and project management environment is preferred.
• Perform various ad hoc tasks and responsibilities for the Field Services group as directed by Director of Operations and other Senior management
• Perform certain responsibilities of the department staff in their absence, and assignment of special projects as needed.
• Communicate in a timely manner with department staff and Senior management on any day to day, ongoing, or other operationally impacting issues as they arise.
• Maintains a high level of confidentiality of customer/client sensitive information and DTDC confidential information.
• Ability to fill roles vertically as required during periods of time when subordinates or superiors are out of office.
• Responsible for communicating organization's and customer's expectations to employees, implementing changes to personnel, processes and procedures as required.
• Demonstrate respect for others and interact co-operatively to promote a healthy team environment.
• Cost focused, liaising with other departments within or outside the business group as required, utilizing metrics to improve performance.
• Strong work ethic and exceptional leadership qualities.
Requirements
• BA/BS or equivalent experience preferred and/or technical management of personnel, administration and/or equivalent experience desired.
• Must have solid computer skills and be proficient in all Microsoft office applications.
• Must have excellent communication skills, be detail & accuracy oriented, possess the ability to multi-task, work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and manage both self and others' time effectively to achieve deadlines.
• Excellent verbal communication and written documentation skills with strict attention to detail required.
• Must have strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to satisfy customer requirements and motivate, coach and inspire internal staff.
• Experience in defining, documenting and implementing business operations processes and procedures.
• Ability to clearly articulate expectations and quickly respond to service issues
• Clear understanding of Digital Cinema systems and technology basics required.
• Must be willing to work in an office and warehouse environment, working overtime and flexible hours, with some travel (15%) as needed to support business activities.
