We are seeking a Data Analyst with 5+ industry experience working in a deadline-drive content environment to work out of our Burbank, CA facility.
The Data Analyst will provide critical support within the Content Operations team, ensuring data is correct in all systems, reporting and resolving data issues
Responsibilities
• Responsible for creating on time reports for all customer deliverables.
• Responsible for working with internal and 3rd party tools, extracting the data and creating reports for management.
• Support the Account Management team with reporting requirements, including billing.
• Support management's requirements for metrics required to run the business.
• Responsible for and being custodian of analytical 3rd party software (tableau) to fit internal and external needs.
• Prepare information and time sensitive reports for clients.
• Track and maintain changes made to requirements for reporting.
• Maintain proper documentation and data backup for recall if necessary.
Requirements
• Excel expert, ability to create formulas, use pivot tables, and charts
• A minimum of 5 years' experience writing SQL searches.
• Organization is a critical and important part of success to this position.
• Attention to detail is critical, reporting must be accurate.
• Must be able to retain and use new information.
• Use logical processes to be able to recreate work in the same exact quality each and every time.
• Must be a critical thinker, ability to look at the numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings.
• Excellent communication skills, must be able to present your findings, or translate the data into an understandable document.
• Ability to write and speak clearly, easily communicating complex ideas.
• Intermediate to expert user of all Microsoft software.
• Ability to learn and master software programs and data systems.
• Use of Computers and Technology is a must.
• Must perform under deadlines and multiple pressures.
• Ability to switch gears on demand for changing customer priorities.
