We currently have an opening for a Localization & Access Services Account Manager. The position will be located in Manhattan, NY.
Primary Responsibilities
• Manage projects and processes to create subtitles, closed captions, dubbed audio, scripts, audio description tracks, and related deliverables in multiple languages for clients primarily in the entertainment space.
• Translate client needs into actionable solutions, and execute these solutions by orchestrating complex workflows and collaborating effectively with internal departments, external vendors, and clients around the world.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers/clients and with partners/vendors to their satisfaction.
• Demonstrate professional expertise in technical and creative aspects of Localization & Access Services and how these services fit within the Deluxe ecosystem and the entertainment industry as a whole.
• Provide direction to Account Coordinators and Operations regarding priorities.
• Proactively identify potential issues with projects in progress and find creative solutions to meet or exceed client expectations.
• Exercise good judgment and resourcefulness in addressing and escalating issues as they arise.
• Initiate corrective action process as needed, and create policies and procedures to improve quality of deliverables in the future.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, experience, and skill-set:
• BA or BS degree preferred.
• 3-4 years' experience working with clients in the entertainment industry; traditional post production background helpful.
• Solid technical understanding of the television distribution industry helpful.
• Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to juggle multiple priorities and solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Must be proficient with word processing, spreadsheet, inventory, internet, order processing, project management, and database software.
• Must be flexible to work extended hours and/or weekends to meet project deadlines.
