We currently have an opening for an Account Manager – Content Servicing. This position will be located in Burbank, CA.
Primary Responsibilities
Internal Partner Emphasis: Serve as a Tech Ops contact for content servicing-related business partners and content. Help to resolve related operational barriers related to content servicing in a process improvement-focused manner (root cause/corrective action format).
Content/Asset Systems and Metadata: Perform as a key user in WBTO's global asset and order management systems (GATOR, TOPS) following the order through from request, to Purchase Order creation, to successful delivery. Own distribution and servicing of content to meet Global Partner's needs.
Digital Supply Chain: Support end-to-end supply chain activities resulting in efficient product distribution to defined Global Partners, including but not limited to:
• Work closely with third party encoding and packaging vendors to ensure seamless execution of servicing requests based on standard SLAs and established procedures and processes.
• Work independently and own, as assigned, content servicing resulting in ''on time/on quality'' delivery of WB digital content to defined Global Partner(s) - work with team members to proactively remove barriers to execution as necessary;
• Own and achieve assigned operational key performance metric objectives (client, internal, 3rd party), and identify, communicate and act on suggested improvement plans when below goals;
• Participate in recurring operational and servicing meetings (i.e. scrums, team meetings, vendor calls, etc) to enable efficient tracking of product delivery activities, and related decision-making and communication required to ensure on time product delivery; and
• Identify process improvement opportunities within daily operations, and act as both as the customer voice to effective escalation, but also as an improvement owner, as appropriate; this includes but is not limited to (for example) reduction of delivered product rejection instances, delivery delays, improvement of business management/workflow tool needs and communication.
Qualifications
• Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a client content servicing and operations environment, including a minimum of 1-2 years direct experience with digital content order servicing.
• Knowledge and experience with servicing iTunes content (movies and TV) over the most recent 1-2 years is a strong plus.
• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience with the use of inventory and order management systems to perform client content delivery;
• Experience with excel and database tables, working with heavy amounts of data, is a strong plus.
• Experience in utilizing technical tools and new technologies within a rapidly changing operations environment; collaboration with MIS teams on user and technical improvements in addition is a strong plus.
• Must have experience using online/web tools and interfaces.
• BA/BS Degree -- Business Technology / Operations is preferred but not required.
Knowledge/Skills
• Must have knowledge of all types of video and audio materials and formats.
• Knowledge and experience with iTunes content delivery is a strong plus.
• Must have knowledge of or familiarity with the following:
- Video compression technology, applications and codecs including (e.g. VC-1, AVC, H.264, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, Flash, Real10, WM9, Quicktime, Pro Res, HUF YUV, etc.)
- Framerates; Video Bitrates; Audio Specs.
- Digital delivery mechanisms (e.g. FTP, Aspera, Smartjog)
• Proven ability to successfully adapt and prioritize while multi-tasking across an array of tactical business responsibilities within a fast-paced environment.
• Must be extremely detail-oriented, well organized, and results focused, and able to demonstrate effective self-directed follow through on assigned tasks.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel, as well as with clients/vendors (in person, telephone, written).
• Must have strong PC and applications skills – examples but not limited to Xytech, Pega, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Business Objects.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime, if and when necessary.
• If assigned, ability to facilitate effective meetings and conference calls, including preparing meeting agendas and thorough meeting recaps with defined action items and owners.
• Must have strong analytical and data management skills, and be able to participate in systems development activity when called upon to do so.
• Must have ability to think outside the box when tasked with streamlining and establishing processes and guidelines for the Digital business.
• Must be flexible, adaptable, and have a problem solving attitude with a fast-changing environment
