The HR Director will work under the direction of the CEO of Deep Focus and the VP of Human Resources for Engine North America and is responsible for providing strategic and operational HR support to Deep Focus New York. This will be a multi- faceted role focused on these 3 areas: 1) People (employment law, immigration, compliance, employee relations, employee services, training & development, performance management), 2) Culture (perk system, organizational development, open communication), and 3) Engagement (employee morale, employee retention, DFNY culture evangelist). The HR Director will be challenged with ways by which all 3 areas of responsibility will add to the ultimate enterprise value of the company.
- Partner with CEO to identify goals and priorities for the organization, and translating those priorities into the
- development and implementation of HR related solutions that drive the business priorities.
- Strong business acumen and ability to contribute to the business strategy and operation plans.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with business leaders to develop, implement and monitor HR programs.
- - Excellent interpersonal/influencing skills, with ability to effectively coach leaders, build relationships and leverage resources within the function and across the organization to advance business strategy.
- Progressive and clear thinker - is able to think strategically and can develop simple, straight forward, effective and transparent plans that can be fully executed on a timely basis.
- Courageous, tough-minded, savvy in business interactions, appropriately pushes back and challenges the status quo;
- Optimistic outlook for problem solving.
- Excellent written & oral communication skills with the ability to influence all levels of the organization; effectively gains
agreement/consensus for ideas; operates in multicultural/international environment.
- 5- 10 years of experience in an HR management role. Director level experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in communications, human resource management or related field required.
- Must have thorough knowledge of employment law, employee relations and labor relations, wage/salary and benefits
administration.
