Candidates will be responsible for planning, budgeting and execution of the company and its Talent press events; this includes design and development of the events, as well as media pitching. It also includes areas such as logistics, travel, hospitality, lodging, schedules and vendor management. They will act as the primary contact and manager for event vendors and event companies and oversee the creation of internal event briefing materials.
Responsibilities:
• PR event planning and executive for Talent and Projects
• Responsible for media monitoring, including: creation and tracking of relevant metrics, managing vendors and reporting results
• Support publicity of marketing initiatives and assists in the overall creation of PR strategy and materials.
Requirements:
• A BA degree in communications or marketing, plus writing experience is desired but current students are welcomed
• Two to five years of public relations, marketing communications, or event planning experience is required
• Knowledge of AP (journalism) writing style
• Working knowledge of social media communications for events and talent
• Knowledge of event planning
• Analytics and budgeting knowledge
• Strong organizational, writing and interpersonal communications skills
• Detail oriented and ability to work with different artists and projects
