Bi-coastal production company is seeking candidates to join our team of producers. Candidates should have experience and be familiar with production stages. Self starter, creative, and able to bring projects to fruition. Candidates may be bi-coastal and can work remotely.
Responsibilities
• Create and develop internal ideas for specials and unscripted programming
• Take pitches for specials and unscripted programming and evaluate strength in relation to company mandate
• Ability to delegate others and to seek finance and or investors to fund projects
• Manage projects in development and production including creative, budgets, schedule, script, talent, etc.
• Build and maintain relationships among producers, managers, agents and other industry professionals
Job Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in television and film production
• Prior production experience and working understanding television and film
• Significant experience working at a network or studio in development or current programming.
• Strong existing relationships with production companies, agents, producers, etc.
• Demonstrated creative and story development skills.
• Highly collaborative and the ability to work well with others
• Self-motivated to develop new ideas.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
• Ability to multitask and manage complex projects
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
Required Education
• Bachelor's degree
